Primary Secretory Otitis Media in the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel is highly predisposed to Primary Secretory Otitis Media. This condition does not always present symptoms, but when symptoms appear they can be subtle and confused with pathologies having similar symptoms. In this study conducted to evaluate tympanic and middle ear status in asymptomatic patients, 21 Cavaliers and 3 French Bulldogs were preventively screened for the absence of symptoms.
