Audiology Day- StupenDog Clinic Practical use of Vet-Wave^®

Audiology Day is organised to raise dog owners’ awareness of the importance of preventing diseases involving the external ear and middle ear of their pets. This first day was organized at the StupenDog Clinic in Belforte di Gazzuolo (MN) run by Dr. Sonia Perini with the collaboration of Dr. Fabio Biaggi. On the occasion, owners of pets brought to the clinic were asked if the health status of the external and middle ears of their dogs could be checked. Screening consisted of a clinical examination, an otoscope check of the external auditory canal, and wherever possible, the eardrum. This would be followed by a Vet-Wave® test for the assessment of eardrum and middle ear functions.
